DTD Marketplace and hotel

Not sure if this question is better asked on Orlando Attractions board or Themeparks board, so I'm gonna try both.

We will be getting into Orlando at about 3pm on a Sunday. We need a place to stay before we check into our resort room on Monday morning. I was thinking of looking for a DTD hotel for that night, but was not sure if DTD was still under construction. We like the Marketplace area.

So.... can anyone help me with the question of is the Marketplace area under construction or not, and with recommendations on a nearby place to stay for 4?

There is construction but it is not by the hotels and everything is still open for business. Marketplace has the least amount of construction.

Here are the Downtown Disney Hotels. They are all at the Marketplace end and walking distance. Always check for resort fees and parking fees. http://www.downtowndisneyhotels.com/

Just outside Downtown you will find many more options with less fees.

We booked the Wyndham for one night for the night before we started our stay at POR this August. It's right across the street from DTD Marketplace and was $51 via Priceline. Would definitely recommend it.
