DTD Check-in still open ??

Anyone know if, following the recent problems, the VA DTD check-in is still available ??

Well, we just had our tickets arrive yesterday and the DTD check-in vouchers were in the envelope with everything. There was no letter or anything stating that for the time being it was closed, so I'm going on the basis that as I haven't been informed, it is still open. The only thing is, by using DTD check-in, if you do turn up at the airport with something liquid-based in your hand luggage, you'll have no other choice but to leave it behind (cos you can't transfer it to your hold luggage).

Yes it's still open. We just got back today. We'd planned to do Downtown Disney check in but in the end we checked in on-line. Much better We didn't have to pack up and get out of the hotel to drive down to the check-in. We spent most of the day by the pool and were able to pack up all the stuff we'd used during the day into the cases (i.e. no wet swimming gear in the hand luggage and - crucially - no suntan lotions etc.). We logged on yesterday morning, checked in within a couple of minutes and spent the rest of the day relaxing. We turned up at the airport a couple of hours before we flew to drop off our bags - only one family in front of us in the queue.
