My DS16 came to me last week, his bow broke as he was shooting. The strings popped.
Ok not a problem since hunting season is in a month we have time to get it repaired. I tell him to bring it to Cabela's or Bass Pro to get it fixed. He brings it to a guy in the neighborhood that his friends at school use. I ask before you bring it how much will it cost? $50.00 bucks mom, max!
So last night, he gets a call that the bow is ready. I again ask how much? $50.00 bucks mom, max!
I send him with a blank check just to be sure taxes were covered! $110.00 and the bow is still broken!
I told him he is paying me back and I don't care if he can't bow hunt this season! So now I am feeling guilty for making him pay me back since it is still broken. Am I nuts?
