DS Lite Price Matching Success!

For those of you still looking for a DS Lite at Radio Shack's $75 price point...

I printed out RS's page w/the price (I actually printed all 4 models of DS Lites they had), went to two different Wal*Marts and was turned down. I was told I needed the actual sales flyer, not a printed sheet from the internet.

I went to Best Buy, straight to customer service, and they agreed to price match!

My Best Buy doesn't price match either. It is hard enough for me to get them to take the coupons from Disney that first week and I've even had a hard time getting them to honor their own sale. They say the coupon says that it cannot be combined with a sale and since it's on sale that first week, I cannot use it yet or else they try to take the coupon off after they adjust the price to full price.

But it's not an internet sale. It plainly states on the sheet "in store only". I figured I had nothing to lose.

If that doesn't work for you... Radioshack.com search for 'nintendo ds lite'. Go to page 5. There are 4 different ones (different colors). I might have gotten lucky and just found a nice CS rep, but I was also going to try Meijer & Target if Best Buy didn't work out.

Thanks! I searched and searched and searched the other night, I couldn't find it. Hmmph! lol. Now the question is, do I retun the DSi that was much more expensive, or get the DS Lite instead, if I can get somewhere tp price match it... ::sigh::

I just did this 2 weeks ago. Isn't it awesome? I grabbed 2, one for each of my boys for Easter. The only thing...I wasn't offered an extended warranty and I didnt' think of it until now.

You should still be able to add it. It's worth a try anyway.

So we got Walmart to price match 1, Best Buy to match 1, and our Radio Shack actually had 1 in stock!!!!! Woo hoo! My 3 nieces are gonna totally flip out!! Thank you for posting this OP!

That's exactly where I went too! Man I love Hamburg, besides being 5 min from my house I don't have to fight those crazies on Nicholasville Rd!

We used to live across MOW from Hamburg... when it was still a farm. No Meijer, no Target, no banks, etc. In fact, one 4th of July, we parked at the top of the hill across MOW and were able to see downtown fireworks!

I agree with you though... I much prefer Hambug to Nicholasville Rd... although the traffic an Hamburg isn't exactly "light". lol
