D's in signatures

This probabley sounds really dumb, but when I first joined the DIS I thought the D's in like DD well the first d stood for disney, like disney daughter. did anyone else think that?

I think it's Dear Daughter [DD] Dear Son [DS]. But honestly I don't really know.

DH-Disney Husband
DW-Disney Wife
DD-Disney Daughter
DS-Disney Son

and so on...

So does anyone know what it reallly means?
