DD12 plays drums and has started a collection of drum sticks from WDW. Right now she has ones that light up and another set with flames on them - both from Rock n Roller Coaster and ones with Animal on them from Muppets3D in MGM. What others should I look for when dh and I visit in two weeks?

My son just bought some drum sticks a couple of weeks ago in Epcot. He got them at the American pavillion and they look like the American flag. I thought they were a great souvenir.

dh is in the Army, so this might be an especially big hit! thanks!

We got some speciality drum sticks for a drummer at All Star Music a few years ago.

When you are in Epcot, check out Off Kilter, the :shamrock: Celtic rock band in Canada. Scotty Z., the drummer for the band is an awesome talent and a great guy. Maybe he would autograph some sticks for her after a set!

You guys are terrific! Thanks for some great ideas! :goodvibes We will be at each of the parks for a bit - mostly Epcot, but will make special stops to add to her collection! Heck, it's even before Christmas, so maybe we can set a couple aside for surprises, too.
Again, many thanks! Any others?

This is great info. My husband is a drummer and it will be so fun to get him some of these on our next trip. I really want to see him use the ones that light up sometime while playing at church. :rotfl:

Yeah, dd says they aren't good for her drums, tho. She won't use them on her new set, says they ruined the tops on the others...
they do look really cool!

Oh then he won't want to use them either. He is pretty particular about the sticks he uses anyway but we'll see!

I will have to look for these! I didn't even think about getting drum sticks at WDW! My dd plays the drums and would love to start collecting them! :flower:

Hi, I know you said you'd mostly be at EPCOT, but I bought my DD11 a set of sticks in the MK at the shop in Liberty Square last year. This was located right next to the Hall of Presidents...They were decorated to look like the American flag and were even holographic; she LOVES them! So that is another source you might check... Enjoy shopping and have a great time at the F&W festival!

Don't really have any advice but I just wanted to say the idea of collecting drum sticks from WDW is a really cool and unique one! :cool1: I'm curious what the price on something like that runs? :confused3

I just bought a pair of the flag ones that say Rock N Roller Coaster for my DD and they were $15.00. They had 3 differesnt sets plus the light up ones and some single ones for $7.00 each all at the store right after the ride.

I'm pretty sure that she has paid about $15 a pair for the ones she has so far. I think the light up ones might have been $20. It is an awesome idea...because it is so unique and there is a little bit of a challenge in finding them. DD14 collects purses from WDW. Of course she also plays instruments; flute, piccolo, sax and piano. Not much there to work with!

I just bought two sets at Rock and Rollercoaster, one was a very glittery red, and the
other was a pair of those light-up ones. Very cool! There were at least four different colors of the light up sticks: purple, orange, green and blue. The red glittery pair was $15, and the light up ones were $18.75
