I will be PIF early in order to book activities. If I need to drop a passenger from the reservation, may I still do so as long as it is before the ACTUAL PIF date? Thank you.

As long as you are before the date at which penalties start, you should be able to drop a passenger and get a full refund of that person's fare. We were able to drop a passenger last summer after we had booked activities but before the actual "paid in full" date.

But also be aware, if you're dropping one person from a two person reservation, you'll probably incur "single occupancy rates". That is, typically, a single passenger in a room will still pay for two people, minus taxes and service charges for one of them.

Also, if a reservation has, say, 2 adults, 1 teenager (lesser cost), and 1 child (even lesser cost) on it, dropping one of the adults just bumps the teenager up to adult fare. The first two people on a reservation always pay adult fare, regardless of age.
