Drop off or pick up st magic kingdom?

My family is going to the Magic Kingdom for two days this summer. I'm not sure if the grandparents will want to go both days. So I was wondering if there is a place for them to drop off and/or pick us up without having to pay and park? That way they could take our van and go do their own thing while we visit MK on the 2nd day. Our hotel has a shuttle that we could prob take that morning but we would need them to come pick us up since the return shuttle is later than we will prob want to stay.

MK's guest drop off/pick up is at TTC.
That means guests must then ride to/from MK gates on the monorail (or ferry.)

An alternate way to drop off and/or pick up guests is to drive to the Contemporary Resort
parking lot to do so.

Guests can just make the 7-8 minute walk between MK gates and the CR.

It looks like the driver would mostly follow signs to the Polynesian, with the TTC pickup area before the Poly.
