We want to rent a car to drive to WDW but want to give up the car while we're at WDW for 10 days or so. What is the least complicated way for us to get from rental car place where we will probably drop off the car to Disney? And the least expensive too.

Alamo/National have rental offices on-sight. They are located at the Car Care Center and the Dolphin Hotel on property. Budget and Dollar have rental locations within walking distance of DTD. Check the sticky at the top if the transportation board for other options. :)

Be warned if you are lookingt o rent at one location and then return to another (ie: in Disney) you will probably be looking at a high one-way rental fee

when checking prices of rentals be sure to check the one way rental price and also the price to keep whole time including just parking at resort. do not be surprised if it costs less to rent for whole time than 2 one way rentals

Make sure you carefully read the fine print.

One way rentals typically have a drop fee, limit the number of free miles and/or black out many discounts. Some local locations limit unlimited free miles to customers who limit their driving to states adjacent to their rental location.

To answer your question, AFAIK every major agency has a location near WDW. There is a "sticky" which lists many of them.

Thanks everyone. I will definitely read the fine print. Might be cheaper flying now that I've checked into one way rentals.
