Georgia's New Super Speeder Law

I do not endorse speeding, and I am usually very careful about my speed, but I just want everybody to be aware of the following new law:

http://www.safespeedsgeorgia.org/

Just be extra cautious and careful, like you always should be regardless of what state you are driving in.

Happy New Year!

Thanks for the reminder! I always use my cruise control, and it's really not worth it to speed. Plus it's dangerous.

The year we drove, there was a lot of fog and lots of trucks. So you do have to watch it.

We now have lots of speed cameras in Maryland, and they really make folks slow down.

Good to know ! We're headed down from Delaware in a couple of weeks..Thanks for the info.

I'm from GA and I'm not sure how many come through Columbus (for beach trips not WDW) but the state patrol has been pretty strong the last couple of times I've went. And if you ever come down I-20 West from Atlanta toward Birmingham, slow down after Douglasville. The state Patrol looves writing tickets to speeders, I can say from personal experience. :lmao: Just be safe and stick to the speed limit!!!

Thanks for the warning, we are driving down in Feb from New Jersey and I have a bit of a heavy foot (as my DH likes to say). Not a crazy speeder but, I must admit I have been known to push the speed limit a bit!:drive:
