Driving to 8 am ADRs in the park - will parking lot be open?

We have an 8:05 am Tusker House ADR in September (park opens at 9 am that day, no EMH) and we are planning on driving from Poly. Somewhere else I read that the AK parking lot does not open early. When does it open? Will it be open by 7:50 am?

We could take the bus, but we have a double stroller, and would rather drive than attempt the bus, not so much because of the trip to AK, but for the return trip.

Your guess is as good as anyone's. The AK lot has been known to not open early. I haven't seen any of those complaints recently, but for AK, I'd take the bus for that trip. The lot is supposed to be open at least an hour before the park opens, but apparently that doesn't always happen. But if you do drive and are a little late, they'll probably still give you your adr.

We had the Backstage Safari last Wednesday morning. We had to check in at Guest Relations at 8:15AM. We decided to drive and arrived about 7:45AM and the parking lot was open. It was not an EMH morning and the park opened at 9AM.

We parked our car in the first row of guest parking about the tenth car down from where you catch the tram.
