Once you cross the border from Georgia into Florida, about how long does it take to get to WDW?

I'm going to be driving down for the first time this year and I'd like to have the last day of driving be only a few hours.

Does anyone have any advice on where to stop if you're driving from NYC to WDW, stopping for 2 nights? I'm not sure how to break the trip up.

Thanks a lot.

From Brunswick, GA, about 60 miles from Jacksonville, it took us an easy 3 hours so from Florida border approx 2.5 hours max.

This will of course depend on traffic. We were very lucky with little traffic.

We made it from central PA to Brunswick, GA in 13 hours with 2 stops for breakfast and lunch. We stayed the nught in Brunswick then finished the next morning.

I would suggest maybe Richmond VAor Fayetteville, NC and Brunswick GA as your stops if you will stop 2 nights.

I have driven twice. Trip # 1 , 2:33. Trip # 2, 2:25. The distance is app. 187 miles. No traffic either time.

We drive from Long Island. Once straight thru, once stopping overnight. When we stopped overnight we stayed in Kingsland Georgia. That is right on the border of Florida. When you leave the hotel you are in Florida in under 10 min. There are several hotels there to stay in. All close to I-95. From my house to Kingsland was 14hrs 30min. It takes me about an hour to get to Staten Island from where I live.
