Driving time to Buffalo

We are driving from Kitchener to Buffalo on Jan 18 to catch a 7:30am flight. Any suggestions as to when we should leave? I don't imagine the line at the border will be too long in the middle of the night, but I've never crossed there before. We are planning on parking at Sunpark, so wondering what time we should be arriving there.

I am also in Kitchener and made this trip for the 7:10 flight in September. I left home around 3:00 a.m., went to Sunpark to park, caught there shuttle and made it to the airport at around 5:30. It usually takes me around 2 hours for the drive. We had enough time for a relaxed breakfast at the airport before our flight.
