Driving time question -- CT to MA?

How long would it take to drive from Hartford CT to Boston at 10a.m. on a Saturday? I'm going nuts trying to figure out my travel plans. ARGH!

It would be approx 2 hrs. It takes me 2 1/2 to Hartford and I live about an 30 minutes south of Boston (on a weekend).

Thank you! Well that was starting to sound like a good idea at only 2 hours (saving $60 per airline ticket and 4 hours travel time), but my friend poo-pooed it. Well, thanks anyway.

Fromt he sound of your post you may be flying into BDL airport. Not quite in Hartford but more in Springfield MA......took me about 1:45!!! People say I drive a little fast but not out of the ordinary around here............

I agree - it's about 1:45 to 2 hours, depending in part on how fast you drive! It's a really easy drive - pretty much a straight shot up the highway (Route 84 to the Mass Pike). While I was getting my masters, I made the drive up & back once a week - it's not bad at all.
