Driving our car to stay offsite but should we still Uber to the parks each day?

We are driving our car to Orlando and staying off property at an Air BnB. We have been to DW many times, but this is our first time staying off property. We will have an 8 day ticket. Wondering if it is best to Uber to and from the park each day and use Disney transportation throughout the day or to drive our car and pay to park each day? Pros and Cons of each?

You didn't say when you're going but as of now there is no park hoping option, until there is I'd say just drive to the park you are going to be at, no point in taking another form of transportation.

No way. If you have a car, I recommend using it.

I would decide day by day based on plans instead of all one way or the other. Even when I have a car and stay onsite, I do a mix of car, WDW transportation, or Lyft.

One additional concern that could go either way not mentioned below would be what the price round trip with tip using uber would be compared to the price of paying to park.

Pros for Car:

• No wait to order a car and for it to arrive
• Do not have to depend on WDW transportation or another Uber if you want to move to another park, run back to your rental or go offsite
• Keep some items in the car in case you need them later, such as rain gear, extra clothes or snacks in a cooler

Pros for Uber:

• Drop off points close to parks, or TTC/CR for MK
• Car should already be at a good temp level
• Not worrying about drinking and driving

Same thing I was thinking. Any of those online taxi services for a round trip from/to your offsite hotel will likely be more then the cost of parking yourself at Disney.

What did you end up doing on your trip? Have you gone yet? I am planning a future trip (who knows when at this point), and am flip flopping between the idea of driving our own vehicle and taking an uber/lyft. Was trying to determine which might be faster in the morning if rope dropping.
