Driving my DS to Golf School in Orlando:what could be better? DISNEYWORLD Update 12/5

Hi! I just found your PTR...I am from Texas too, and we're staying at the WL in February! Your family sounds fantastic, how wonderful that your XH is such a good father. And congratulations to both of your sons on getting accepted to their colleges!:cool1: I didn't even know there was such a thing as golf school.

I don't know which direction you are from Midland but I don't envy you that drive. This last time did you drive here and then fly straight from DFW?

The Christmas decorations look beautiful...I hope I get to see those some day!

And I was going to ask you about Cantina San Angel...I refused to try it in July because I assumed it wasn't up to "hometown" tex-mex, but I think your husband answered my question! I should have known, the margaritas in Mexico were terrible. Although I hear there is a new tequila cave with real margaritas.

Wow, I'm rambling...sorry! Can't wait to hear more! popcorn::

Thank you for reading my PreTrip.

Have you ever stayed at Wilderness Lodge, we haven't so I'm so excited. Our last trip (Sept. 2008) we had lunch at Whispering Canyon and I just feel in love with the decor. So I thought wouldn't WL be beautiful with Christmas decorations all over it.

I am so proud of my boys, I also have a terrific daughter, she 15. She's a cheerleader at her high school and competes gymnastics too.:banana: As a matter of fact we were in Garland last friday night for a meet. We live in Abilene, which is just 2hours and 20 minutes west of Fort Worth :lmao: As you can tell we go to the Dallas/Fort Worth area alot. As a matter of fact, I'll be in Dallas tomorrow. Eric's Apple Computer is broken and we're going to North Park to the Apple Store to see if we can get it fixed.

We love Abuelo's and Papaduex, so San Angelo isn't anything like that. We will never eat there again.

I had never eaten Papa's Burger's and we ate there Friday night and those burgers were great.

Hopefully I'll get more pictures up tonight but if not, Thursday at work. Have a great day.

As you alraedy know, I am not a fan... They try to be a half spanish half steakhouse and dont get either half right :lmao: Le cellier in Canada is awesome, and The Rose and Crown in England is very good. We have many others that we have not sampled. Hope you have a wonderful time.

I'm getting so excited... Just 27 more days until we start traveling to Orlando and 29 days until I get to Wilderness Lodge and 30 days until Charlie arrives. :cool1::cool1::cool1:

I can't wait. It's going to be so much fun.

The excitement is getting crazy. Of course it doesn't help that there have been Disney Show's on TV and we started watching old video's... I can't wait. (I think I said that already :lmao:)

On this trip we decided that we wouldn't go crazy around the parks, as in run from one ride or show to another. We decided we wanted to just take our time and enjoy every park to it's fullest. Hopefully just Hopefully the Holiday decorations will still be up.

Did anyone catch the Disney Show on HGTV and how they decorated the park at night (which we already knew) but they showed pictures of the transformation. That was so cool. I loved the big warehouse that everythinhg was stored in and how organized it was... :cool1::worship::cool1: The person in charge of that is my hero. I loved seeing Cinderella's castle with all the different colors shinning through it. WOW!!!! I would love to see that. I know the Christmas Parade and fireworks show will be gone :headache::headache::headache: so I'm really sad about that. Maybe next year we can go during the first week of December. I work retail and it's really hard to get off. :headache::headache::headache: I hate retail.

I need to finish posting about our quick trip to DW with Eric and his Dad. I'll try to get to that soon.

Have a great day!!!
