Driving I-95, any good places to eat south of DC?

We will be driving down 95 from Maryland and taking our time doing it. Was wondering if anyone has any places they like to stop and eat, rest, waste time at on their way down? Would especially like it if you have any "secret" places or hidden gems to check out. Thanks.

Haven't been there yet, but we have Parker's in Wilson, NC on our radar! I found them on Roadfood.com, which is a website dedicated to good, local restaurants - not chains.
