Driving from/to CT this week. Locals on 80 or 90, Roads??Weather??

If somebody has to drive all the way across NY on 90, or all the way across PA on 80, on Tuesday or Wednesday, is one day way safer roads/weather-wise this week? Really, 90 is pricier(tolls) to drive but easier (rest areas more convenient). 80 is cheaper, but restrooms can be difficult to get to.

Really, would prefer Tuesday over Wednesday, but would like safe driving to be the biggest factor.

So anyone have advice for me, along those routes?
