Driving from Orange county airport

How long does it take driving from the John Wayne/orange county airport to Disneyland?? Is there a lot of Traffic?

It depends on what day of the week and what time you are driving through the area. Coming from that area, you will be going through part of the Orange Crush (a couple of freeways crossing paths) and that can get bogged down with traffic. It can easily be a 20 min drive. But it can also take close to an hour in the right traffic. More details would help.

I've taken a cab many times too and from Orange County, and it's always been about a 15 minute trip. However, we've always been on the roads during non-peak hours.

It's taken us about 20 minutes both times we've used that airport. The first time we were on the Disneyland Express bus, and the second time we took a taxi. Both times we used the carpool lanes and bypassed a lot of the traffic (although I don't recall there being backups, just maybe a little heavy...).

The route form the airport to DLR is part of a massive widening project and now is very easy to drive. It is a myth about the traffic. Yes there are bad times like right after the church lets out, when school lets out, holiday shopping at malls, and the work rushes. It is everyday part of urban life. If you are going north after 10 am you will be fine. 6 am to 10 am are rush hour for north bound traffic. Midnight is a dream unless they are working on the roads.
