Mapquest shows two ways that are equal time, and I'm wondering if there are significant differences in toll costs/ease of travel between the two.

One way sends us down the Florida Turnpike via E. Osceola Pkway, and the other sends us down I-95 via SR-528 East.

Any feedback from those who have traveled these roads would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Oh dear God....you are bringing back some very bad memories for me. I had to drive from WDW to Pompano Beach a few years ago. That's where my dad lives, so I tied in a visit to WDW with a trip to see him. Both my GPS and Mapquest told me to take the Florida Turnpike to Jupiter, and get onto 95, down to Pompano Beach. Okay. Well.....I have never been so horrified. I got onto 95, and the drivers were all moving at about 80-85...in the right lane!!! It was bumper to bumper, I had little idea where I was getting off or if I was going to be forced to exit someplace because I was in the wrong lane!!! It was awful. To this day, I avoid 95 like the plague when I'm in Florida. I was just in Pompano Beach again, doing a lot of driving around. I took longer routes just to avoid getting on 95!!!
I would just stay on the Florida Turnpike for as long as you can. It's a much better roadway...much less stressful, and I'm used to 128 up here in Mass!!!!

Best tip I can offer is do NOT take 95. Take the turnpike all the way south. 95 at the best of times is dangerous...it's not unusual to see people doing 85 in the slow lane

If you don't have a sunpass, it'll run you roughly 14.00 for the tolls.

In addition, if you do go down 528 to I95, you're going a ways out of your way.
