Hi Everyone:
If the Courtyard at DTD still has cheap rates, I'm thinking about driving down to WDW next spring. DH hates DL driving and may not be going with me. If he doesn't my Mom will come with me, but, she doesn't drive. So there wouldn't be any drive sharing involved. We have AAA so I can get a trip-tik from them and would probably leave here about 3am. Will bring snacks and meals in the car and stop somewhere around every 4-5 hrs.
I've driven as far as Fairfax, VA before. Today I checked online and found that we can stop in Rocky Mount, NC, for the night, which is a little more than halfway, (10 hrs).
I'd also like to know about tolls and gas amounts too. I have a 4-cyl Chevy Caviler, which is very good on gas. It gets about 35mph on the highway. The car has a Fast Lane Transponder for tolls. I'm thinking that I'll get Exxon gift cards for gas.
