Driving from Houston w/Travel Trailer

We were hoping to drive straight through, are we crazy ?? We're planning on taking the kids out of school at Noon and hitting the road. If we get tired we were thinking of pulling over to a rest stop in Florida, are they o.k. ?? I hate the thought of pulling into an RV park for just a few hours !!

I would think twice about trying to drive straight through pulling a travel trailer from Houston.

You WILL get tired. I would consider staying overnight at an RV park in northern Florida just to be safe. As you know, pulling the trailer takes more time and starting at noon, you WILL be tired by the time to get to Florida. Just think about it.
