Driving from GTA to Buffalo Airport - are there toll booths?

Never having drove to the States before, will we come across toll booths?

What is the charge normally?

American money or do they also take Canadian?

There are no toll booths to Buffalo. The only toll booth is for crossing the bridge and you can pay in CAN or US dollars. At the Peace Bridge for example you pay $3.00 CAN or US when entering Canada only. Take the Peace Bridge crossing at Fort Erie when going to the Buffalo airport. It is the quickest border crossing by far. I have never waited more than 10 minutes since they have many booths open for inspection.

As just mentioned, take the peace bridge. If your using a GPS it will probably send you over the Queenston/Lewiston bridge. You will encounter a .75$US toll when crossing through Grand Island on the 190 to Buffalo. Fort Erie/Buff will be faster and they have a better/cheaper duty free there.
