Driving Cleveland to WDW...How Long?

I'm sending my mom and sister to OKW, and they are planning on driving from Cleveland, OH to WDW. Anyone do this regularly enough that they have a relatively accurate estimate of driving time? I've heard everywhere from 14 hrs to 20 hours... they want to drive straight through if they can, and stop only once after around 4 hours if they can't. I've just flown recently, so my memories of the drive are unreliable.

1. Any time estimates?
2. Any tips?
3. Any hotel recommendations (fairly inexpensive) along the way?

Can't really help you from Cleveland, but it takes us 21 hours from the Detroit area. Maybe you can use this to estimate how long it would be from Cleveland?

We drive from Mentor. It takes us about 17 hours. We drove straight through once and will never do it again. Way too much time in the car with two kids who want out.

There is a hotel chain called Masters Inn. There is one in Statesville, N. Carolina. Cost about 40.00 and you get donuts and coffee in the morning. The Holiday Inn Express in Statesville was only 50.00 last year and they had a more expanded breakfast. You will have about 9 hours driving time the next day.

Driving is not bad but after 7 years of driving there yearly we are flying this time.

I drive from the Newark area and it takes 16 hours for us. I drive to the GA/FL border the first day, about 12 hours with stops for food. There are lots of hotels and the gas is cheap. The next day it is about a 4 hour drive to Orlando. It's an easy drive.
