I will be driving from VA to Orlando Christmas Eve into Christmas Day. Are there any gas station open between the hours of 7pm Christmas eve to Noonish Christmas day (haven't decided exact time we will be leaving yet)? I will be driving along 95 south. Would also like to know if there are any decent places to eat that will be open.

Do you know any of the gas station chains along your route? You could call, say, Hess and see if their stores, or their highway stores at least, will be open on Christmas.

Dining's trickier. The only thing I can tell you for SURE is that Starbucks in Saugus MA is open 6 AM to 4 PM Christmas day. Again, if you could find out the names of some of the restaurants along your route...

What I have found in my "driving through the night adventures" is that many gas stations (especially in the south, even if they are not "open" in the sense that there is a person there, the stations are lit and the pumps are on for credit card sales. This can becomes more of a restroom issue than a gasoline issue. One thing that you can count on is that the restroom facilities will be available at the welcome centers as you enter each state. You might be well advised to not let the gas tank get below half before you fill up but I don't think you'll have any problems. The truck stops will be open.
