Apple peaches pumpkin pie, not ready holler "I"

We have a great deal on an 8 person minivan. We have 4 drivers. We don't plan on actually stopping (as in sleeping) but is there anything you would recommend taking time to visit along the way.
I was thinking I would like to eat at one of Paula Deen's places, and I am sure that there are other things that would be nice to see. It could be either way, going down or coming home.
We are leaving on a Wednesday night, after dinner out of NY. So I hope that helps. We need to stop and eat, bathroom breaks etc, but would like to be in Daytona between 4-6pm on Thursday. We leave the following Saturday, and I don't care what time we get home, just need to drop DH off at work sometime Monday morning.
Any help or suggestions?
