Driving and time of day to visit Hollywood area

We are arriving from our cruise on a Wed morning in October and driving too Annaheim. We plan too be in our hotel by noon that day and then head out too see the area.+

Our DD wants too see the Hollywood sign!!!

If we headed too the Griffith Observatory around noon and then spent some time in Hollywood would we be ok timing wise for traffic?

How far is Hollywood too Annaheim. We have nothing else planned that day and we plan too bring the GPS with us.

We were thinking of having dinner and heading back too the hotel around 7pm that evening.

This is our first trip too California.

Yes, mid-day traffic should not be too bad.

How far is Hollywood too Annaheim.

Approx. 30 miles.

We were thinking of having dinner and heading back too the hotel around 7pm that evening.

That is a good plan.
