We are going to Disney in March for the first time. It is all a bit overwhelming but I'm learning a lot here. We are driving from Jackson, TN. It is about a 12 hr trip. We plan on driving for about 10 hrs then stopping 1-2 hrs away from Disney to sleep/rest. Any idea what towns or hotels are about 1-2 hrs out? I'd like to go ahead and find reservations besides just driving and taking a chance. thanks

If I-75: Ocala
If I-95: St. Augustine

Gainesville along I-75 is about 2 hours from Disney World. Hotel chains adjacent the interstate include (Budget) Motel 6, Super 8 and (Mid-range) Holiday Inn Express, Hampton Inn, Fairfield Inn, Courtyard, Cabot Lodge, Best Western and LaQuinta, among others.
