Following the accident last week the driver of monorail, who is apparently under doctor's care, has released a statement.

Orlando Sentinel

I can't even begin to imagine how he is feeling. :sad2:

You have to feel for the guy. He was doing what he was supposed to, and relying on the guidance of others. A horrible thing for anyone to live with and I for one hope he recovers from this and can continue to do the job he loves.

How very sad. I have been thinking of the other driver all week, it must be a terrible thing to try & come to terms with. :guilty:

Wee bit off line here but am i the only one who gets annoyed when newspapers use the surname of someone who has died, i think it is so disrespectful to austin and his family. grrrrrr.

I do think they should prefix it with Mr, or use his full name. Personally I feel uncomfortable just using Austin when I didn't actually know him.
