Drive Times from Beach Club Villas to...

Can anyone estimate the drive times from the Beach Club Villas to..

Magic Kingdom?

Contemporary (going there for DS 3rd birthday dinner)?

Animal Kingdom?

SSR/OKW/Downtown Disney (want to check out the resorts and do some shopping)?

Wilderness Lodge (checking out the resort)?

Also, what about parking, when you drive yourself to the parks. Is the time you save driving worth it? We would be going when the parks open first thing in the morning. Thanks!

I would imagine that if you are planning on going at park openings the lines getting into the parking lots would be pretty bad. I suggest you simply hop on the Disney bus to whatever theme park you are going to. If you drive to the MK you have to park at the TTC, maybe take a tram first and then either take the boat or monorail with a LOT of people. The Disney buses drop you off at the entrance of all the theme parks, including MK. You can either monorail or walk to the Contemporary from the MK bus stop.
If you want to visit other resorts it is much easier to drive since there are no resort to resort buses.
The bus ride to the MK is about 15 minutes, maybe 20 minutes or so for the AK. For the WL just take the boat across from the MK main entrance area.

We almost always drive ourselves around WDW. We've stayed at BCV twice now, but I don't know any exact travel times to those destinations. I'd say everything is within 15 mins. anyway. We don't have much patience for the buses, and with a toddler, it is much easier to bring the stroller in your own car, IMO.

Thanks I will at worst plan on 30 minutes and figure it is actually closer to 15. Either way, I think that beats the buses with the two little ones.

I would never drive to MK...You'd have to park at TTC then take the monorail...it is much easier just ot hop on a Disney bus and get dropped off at the entrance...

Everything else is about 15 mins give or take 5 mins..

The bus to the MK drops you off at the park entrance. If you drive you have to take a tram to the TTC then a monorail or ferry to the park entrance. Bus to the MK generally makes sense, drive to the other parks.

From the MK you can either walk, take the monorail or boat to the Contemporary.
