At Disney does your family buy bottled water/etc for the room?

We plan on buying lots of bottled water and powerade. We'll take a bottle with us each morning, and maybe take one if we come back to the hotel during the day.

Also, we're taking an insulator thing so they'll be icecold.

=D

We buy like three cases of water lol. My family and I drink lots of water.

Yeah, we're buying one [24] case of Dasani -my favorite water-, and one case [32] or Aquafina -i hate aquafina-

PLUS 72 bottles of blue/red powerade.

We'll be there for 14 days and there's three of us, we're big drinkers.

Actually, we're having it delivered from a grocery store.

I sure as heck ain't carrying all the stuff.

lol.

lol yeah we go to the stores down there and buy a ton of food and stuff too.

we brought stuff all the time. coolers were our friends. we brought food and drinks, never having to buy water bottles in the parks.

Because water there is so expensive! I'm sure you better than anyone know that.

I'd rathar buy 32 bottles for 9 bucks than 1 bottles for $2.

Outrageous!

absolutly have it delevered by a grocer..you can find the name of the grocer everyone uses by doing a search. the name is escaping me right now. Or you can just fed ex it from home. it'll be worth the cost

are you on the DDP becuse I highly reccomend paying for any "snacks" oop and using your snack credits for water.

If you are on DDP be aware powerade is NOT included as a snack on the plan.

im with you. aaallll the way.
i hate saying "yeah. that poweraid is $2.50." some people are like "...is that all?" and others are completely blown away. i cant help but sympathize with them. i dont have that kind of money to be spending $2 for freaking water.

i bring my own and refill it at water foutains. it works just fine for me.

we usually go from the resort to Publix on the first day and get things like water, cereal, etc. since i hate plain water, we get some crystal light and when i get thirsty at the parks, i get it out and pour it into the water to drink :)

Last time we brought a cooler and filled it up with 2 cases [24] of water. About 24 cans of soda. And by the time we left we ended up having to go to publix twice to buy 2 more cases of water.

We went to the store (I don't remember which one, there's just random ones everywhere) and bought water, pop and wine (for my parents).
We brought it with us on the boat, and didn't finish it. So we gave our room cleaner guy the rest of the wine as a gift.

Actually, since we're buying so many drinks [we may even buy another case of water] we're spending our FREE snack credits on actual snacks. I'd really love to try some of the things from the F&W booths, plus the different bakeries etc.

Thanks for the suggestions though. =]

Adding:: We're having our groceries delivered from gardengrocer.com, there's tons of reccomendations from people here on the board. And it's a very reputable site. =D

We're bringing Nalgene bottles and we're just going to fill them there using the water fountains at the parks, or the sink in the room. We're bringing powdered gatorade and those crystal light flavor packs to make the water taste better, too.

we go to the grocery and we buy water bananas apples oranges cereal breed diet coke and rootbeer canned food etc stuff that we can eat before a long day at the park or we just have some stuff so we don't always go out

We're bringing everything down with us. All our food and such for in-room. Cereal is being brought and so is our snacks for the plane and when we're in our room at night. We're only buying milk and beer for my dad while we're down there. We live in NH, so there's no sales tax and we hate spending more than we have to.

We only go to the grocery store if we stay at one of our timeshares offsite because that way we actually have a car to get there. Other than that we just buy the refillable mugs and by drinks in the park.

We just bring reusable plastic water bottles into the parks and ask for ice water from any restaurant to fill them with. Sometimes the Florida water can be nasty, but most of the time it's fine.

Yeah, we're bringing down things like breakfast bars/donuts/chips etc for the room in the morning and if we're hungry at other times. I think it will save us quite a bit of money because WDW is usually priced pretty high.
