Drinking at Epcot question?

If you order a drink at a stand (margarita stand in Mexico) do you have to stay there and drink it or can you walk around?

Definetly walk around, but you can not leave the park with it.

That is one of the greatest joys of Disney. My fav part of Disney trips is walking around the countries of Epcot enjoying a beer...

It is silly that they don't allow you to leave with the beer...On many occasions I have gotten a beer on the boardwalk and walked with it to the international gateway entrance of Epcot...which I am allowed to do...butg at the end of the night I cannot walk from Epcot back to the BW carrying a beer...oh well...

I agree 100%. In fact, one time, wife and I got a beer at Rose & Crown and then left Epcot via IG. We were not done with beer, so we put it in stroller and snuck it out (I know - this was evil and wrong). As soon as we got out of park, we saw some characters over in the French courtyard, so we wanted to go back in. At that point, security would not let us back into the park until we finished the beer that we had just snuck out of the park. I know I created this problem for myself by breaking the rules, but it would be nice if they would let you take beer in or out to avoid this.

Being able to walk around with a nice cold beer will be great. My husband will enjoy that.

You can definitely walk around. My 21st birthday was spent "drinking around the world" at Epcot- including those fiesta Magaritas- and even got one for free!
