So, I am planning on "Drinking Around the World" at Epcot. :drinking1 I have been trying to put a list together of what I should have to drink at each country. This is what I have come up with so far:

Canada -

England - Welsh Dragon

France - Cosmopolitan Slushie

Morocco - Mimosa

Japan -

U.S.A. -

Italy - Rose Regale

Germany - Lees burg lemonade

China -

Norway -

Mexico - Mango Margarita

Of corse I am missing a few. Does anyone have any suggestions for the countries I have left blank? TIA!

I'm not sure whether you can get the Cosmopolitan slush year-round or if it's just there during Food & Wine. I didn't see it there when I went earlier this month. If it is, definitely report back as I was looking forward to trying it myself.

i was also going to say that i think the cosmo slushie is only a food and wine fest item. if it is offered year-round that would be great, it was my favorite!

France has a Grey Goose lemon slushie and a Grand Marnier orange flavored one. Both are very tasty if they don't have the Cosmo, which I don't recall seeing on my last two trips.

There is a frozen drink stand in Morocco that has some unusual flavors. I don't remember what it was called, but I had one flavored with honey and lime that was delish. I was there with three guys, and they really dug watching the "Mo Rockin" belly dancer.

Have fun! :drinking:

In Canada your choice is pretty much beer from the cart. Same for USA where you can get Sam Adams from the hut out front.

Ok thanks, I wasn't sure myself, fingers crossed, if not Grand Marnier is fine with me!!!

Are you drinking beer as well.....or just cocktails?

Beer is fine too, trying not to do too much beer (it makes me have to use the ladies room like, every 8 minutes)

I have had BOTH of these and LOVE them, but was curious about the Cosmo...

COOL, thanks!

Hmmm, ok guess that will be my Beer Choices.

China: plum wine + green tea bao bing slush. BTW Chinese plum wine and Japanese plum wine taste fairly different from each other.

Or the Peach Snap, which is a bao bing slush with peach schnapps and I forget what type of tea, but the plum wine one is more authentic. Also yummy. I had one last year and my DH had a taste, and he's already talking about getting his own this year.

I no longer drink around the world since Ringnes went away. They have some kind of beer in Norway though.

I have done this several times. My advice is to go with the flow with the rest of the countries. Morroco has a great beer called...I think...Casa Blanca...give that a try!

Btw, the sake is great in Japan! I had the New Year's Eve Sake and it was like nothing I had there before.

don't forget to get a passport before you go, you can put a picture in it later and have the cast members sign it or stamp it now will make the drinking even more fun -

good luck

Canada has ice wine. It's more of a dessert type wine.

MMM sounds yummy!

Don't forget the Limoncello in Italy!

oh no! I might have to get more than 1 drink per country!

Sake or Plum Wine at Japan.

mmmm

Habibi Daquari in Morocco.

Can you tell me what this is?

ooo so many choices!

Good idea.

I've never had sake, maybe a good time to try it?

Thanks! I actually had a similar idea and downloaded one from the DISign Board!

Where do you get the passport from?

OMG I miss Ringnes. That beer is difficult to find in the U.S.

For those indulging in "InebriaNATIONS" --doesn't mixing all those types of alcohol make you sick? Especially the drinks made with sugar/syrup. I'd have to stick with beer to survive that experience to maintain the contents of my stomach.

Looks like you already have plenty of choices in Morocco (I think next time I go, I'm just going to drink around Morocco ), but there's also a frozen drink called the "Sultan Colada". A little coconutty, and very delicious!

Sounds like you're going to have a great time! :thumbsup2
