Don't get me wrong, we are not going to be getting her wasted..I just want a memorable 21st birthday for her and had seen on another wedsite where a group of ladies took one of the daughters drinking around epcot on her 21st birthday..They had shirts made up and everything, I thought this would be great as a girls only trip, have her bring a couple friends and a couple of my friends..any ideas or suggestions?? Wont be till Sept next year..

I've done it a few times. I would definitely suggest splitting each drink between 2 people. She won't make it if she has one by herself lol trust me. I suggest getting a passport when you get there and have each country stamp it. Also, take a group picture at each country. It's definitely worth it, especially if you do the passport so you have pictures to go with it. We did shirts once that my sister-in-law found on here. If you go on the Creative DISigns section, you can find some cool things. Have fun!

It is very doable, but it should throughout the course of a whole day rather than just an evening. I also agree splitting drinks at some of the pavilions is preferable.

Since it is in September it will likely be HOT, so water, shade and sensible food (think complex carbs and proteins) are a must.

What a fun trip!

Another tip, start at Mexico. The Margaritas are great! Tequila is much better to start the day then end.

Ditto!! Start in Mexico

And have at least a little water between every drink. It will help keep the pace reasonable and keep you hydrated so that you can finish the tour :)

I just have to ask.

Are these things that you all did on your 21st birthday while celebrating with a few drinks?

We just did this on DD 22nd b-day end of May. Also started in Mexico. Couple of the drinks along the way were so/so and we shared when we weren;t sure. There were 6 of us, it was 90 degrees so we took a break by going in the American Adventure and then getting some snacks and using tables there to get out of the sun. I think we started around 3 and it pretty much lead right up to Canada for the last drink and watching Illuminations. My DW made shirts and we got at least 6 "where did you get those" along the way. Although we kept our heads there were others who were doing the same and could not hold their booze.

I always wanted to do this as well but since I primarily visit WDW for races it's just not smart to drink this much before a race and I really don't stick around too long after races to do this either. Nevertheless I am sure I would enjoy having one drink in each of the eleven distinct districts.

I did shortly after turning 21. Had a blast. Got a nice buzz then spent last of the day singing at the pub in England. Very fun!

To be quite honest I had been drinking for some time by then, so yes, lol
Getting sick in the heat is no fun

What will power!!!

I have celebrated with a lot of people on their 21st birthdays.

I can honestly say none of them were splitting drinks, keeping track of complex carbs and proteins, and drinking water between their drinks.

But, if you're 'quite honest', who am I to doubt?

I wasn't splitting drinks or counting carbs - just drinking water and taking Advil before bed. Good lessons learned from my freshman year of college

Dont forget the cure 1 five hour energy 4 airborne chewables drink away :cool1:

No... however these are things that my mom would have made me do had she been with me, so it seems like important things for a mom to know if she's trying to keep her daughter from having a massive hangover.

I probably wouldn't have felt like I'd been hit by a truck the next day if I had done them!

would suggest staying at BC or BW - so the walk back to the hotel room is not long.

you can be in your room at the BC - before the crowds even get to the bus stop or monorail.

Haha I am travelling solo next year and I really want to do this. I'm just a bit concerned that I will look like a pathetic raving alcoholic or as living up to the 'Brits abroad' stereotype :p

Planning on doing this for my daughters 21st. Can't wait, even though its not until 2015!

Yeah, but they're also not going to ragers or barhopping all night. At WDW with your family, it should be pretty easy to follow good advice and stay hydrated/keep food in your stomach. No one wants to feel sick at WDW!

I am not so sure that the Five Hour Energy drink is a good idea. Other than that, wish that I was joining the fun. :rotfl2:;)
