Drinking Around the World, During COVID and wanting to walk back to Dolphin. Possible??

Hi all,

I will be at Epcot on Sunday with adult friends. I planned on following TouringPlans 1-day Epcot guide, but friends would rather focus on the drinking and maybe do ride stuff. We're staying at Dolphin Resort, walking into the back entrance at Epcot.

How would y'all tackle this situation? Go left to the UK or go right to France? Epcot opens at 11:00 AM Sunday, so it won't be too early to get started haha. I definitely want to ride Soarin and Test Track at some point during the day, but we have all day! I typically like to do the 2-day Epcot thing, but we only have 1 day.

Would love to hear your thoughts!

Bear to the right to France. You'll find a kiosk serving an Orange Grand Marnier slush that will be one of the very best drinks you'll have all day. Might as well start the journey on a high note!

Although if you want to get your belly ready for the onslaught go to Yorkshire County Fish Shop in UK and get those fantastic fish and chips with a Harp. Up there with captain cooks meatballs as one of my favorite eats on property.

Oh wow - big shoes to fill with all of the amazing Epcot food! I'll definitely check it out!

Really depends on when you want to do the rides.

Between the walking and the waits, Soarin’ and Test Track will take 2 hours.

Get the rides over with and then focus the rest of the day in the World Showcase?

Or do you want to be eating and drinking at 11 am and then tackle the rides later? (Do you want to be drunk on Test Track?)

Sunday’s forecast is 89 degrees and rain in the late afternoon. Typically, things cool down after the rain.

Drunk on Test Track is fun.

But with social distancing and presumably no alcohol in line, can you maintain your buzz?

Me? Once the buzz wears off, trying to get drunk a second time is not as fun as the first time.

I think the play is to go left, grab some fish and chips, a beer and make your way towards TT and Soarin, and get those done. Then head to Mexico to continue around the world. Ive always thought going around the world at night is better. Plus I like the drink lineup moving from Mexico and around as opposed to finishing at Mexico. Either way you can’t go wrong
