I also have a bit of flying anxiety and a single drink really helps calm my nerves. I have ordered a drink on almost every SW flight I've been on (context: about 20) and I not once have I been charged for the drink. I believe there was one or two flights that I ordered *2* drinks and did not pay for either of them. I always have my SW Visa in my hand when the FA takes my order and when it is delivered. The FA just hands me my drink and moves along. One time, I had a coupon (given to me by a generous, non-drinking passenger) and the FA turned a blind eye to me when I tried to turn it in. It expired that day (I was flying on Halloween) so I did not get a chance to try and use it again.Anybody have any tips on how to score a free drink coupon for Southwest?
