Does such a thing even exist? I see lots and lots of "breathable"/cool shirts that have cap sleeves but those just don't work for many larger-sized ladies. I sometimes wear long-sleeve shirts and just push them up to my elbows, but the "dri" shirts tend to be more fitted so I can't push them up.

Trip coming up in April... love the idea of a shirt that keeps you cooler... but not sure there's anything out there?

Thanks in advance!

I like to cover my upper arms too. I buy the men's polos from Lands end because they have the sleeves I need. They do make breathable T's. Also look at the women's rashguard shirts in the swim section.

Check out uvskinz.com -- their sun protection clothes use the same kind of technology, but they are made to be worn like regular cotton shirts instead of stretchy tight swimwear. They also have plenty of swimwear. Sizes go up to 4XL (28W).

I am not sure what you men by 1/2 sleeves? Sorry.

They do however sell plus size dri cool t-shirts in Walmart. You would have to shop now because they just put them out and the plus sizes go quickly. They come in a lot of pretty spring colors.

The other place I have found them in was J.C. Penny plus size active wear section.

I have never seen them 3/4 sleeve. Only t-shirt or long sleeve.

Good luck.

1/2 sleeve = short sleeve, covers half your arm

Check Old Navy online. I thought they had plus size athletic wear. Underarmour has XXL in some of their shirts too. I always wear dri-fit tops to the parks with a sports bra underneath. I sweat like a bandit, and we go in June.

Thank you everyone for the great suggestions! I am still looking into it, but I think some of these could work!

Also, for anyone else that may be checking out this thread that deals with these same issues, there was a swimsuit product that I saw on the UV skins website that I had no idea existed and I LOVE IT!
A swim shrug you can keep over your swim suit all the time - Brilliant! http://www.uvskinz.com/Swim-Shrug-Women-p/040326.htm?1=1&CartID=0
Thanks so much everyone!

Not sure what the sizes go up to, but Under Armour makes some men's t-shirts that are quick dry and also has some nice colors.
