Hi all. My littlest princess wants to wear her various "dress up" clothes in the parks. (especially her Cindy dress for CRT breakfast and Minnie dress for Chef Mickeys, Jessie the cowgirl).

I plan to take comfy shoes for her to change into after character breakfasts but wonder if children wear costumes/dress up clothes in the parks for touring? If we do let her I plan to take clothes to change into and store in a locker incase she gets tired of the costumes. (Though she often wears them all day at home so who knows...)

Just wondering what others have done/seen? Also, our trip is not at Halloween, it will be in Dec.

We saw many little girls wearing their costumes in the park (keep in mind this was August :confused3 ). But in December, she'll be fine. I would bring a change of clothes just in case. Have fun!

thanks, melk. good to know my princess won't be the only one-- not that she would have noticed of course. she wears her gowns everywhere...often with her wellies/rainboots!

Definitely! My dd used to wear her princess costume to the princess breakfasts. Sometimes she'd leave it on for a while after and sometimes she'd change (during the warmer month's trips :sunny: )--I always had her wear sneakers with her costume anyway. Let her enjoy while she can, my dd isn't into dressing up at the breakfasts anymore:(

Depending on the temps in Dec. you may even be able to have her wear her "change of clothes" under her costume.

We see this a lot. You might want to carry some leggings or tights with you in the event it is chilly.
