Hi there my lovely DisBrides!

Just wondering what your timing will be for the day of the wedding for everything. We are having a 5PM ceremony and I want to do a character breakfast the day of my wedding with my bridesmaids and DM. Here is what I was thinking for a timeline, is this insane??

09:00am: Carolyn Allen wants to start steaming the dresses (DF can let them in)
09:00am: Character Breakfast
11:00am: Hair and Makeup and getting ready
03:00pm: Ready for Pictures Misty arrives?
05:00pm: Wedding

Am I missing anything here??? Do you think I need to be in the room while Carolyn Allen's is steaming the dresses?? Any Advice would be much appriciated!:goodvibes

That sounds good to me. Is it ok for DF to see your dress before? He would have to stay there with Carolyn Allens. If not, maybe someone else can stay in the room with them.

Oh I never thought about that part Toni! I think I will have to recruit my Dad for that job then lol!

You can also have your dress steamed the day before, I did that to help with the craziness of the whole day. How many bms are you having? Starting at 11 sounds early.

I am getting married @ 5pm....

Steaming @ 11
Hair/Make up starting 11:30, this is for 1 bride makeup/hair, 2 bm's hair. If my Mom changes her mind to be included they are starting @ 11.

I dont think 11 is too early bc I want to be done a little early to relax for 15-30 mins. Plus I was told to allow at least 1 hour to get my dress on, as it has to be laced up and the BM's dresses have those annoying buttons all the way down.

That was my schedule for my 5pm wedding. We had breakfast in the suite though and there were 8 people who needed hair and makeup.

I thought so too, but the email from CA's said they would be there at 9am! I am having 5 BM's, 2 of them are hairdressers and are going to do everyones hair, they want to start at 12, but start me at 11... not really sure how long this will take though!

I honestly cannot remember what my dress has on the back... I dont think it has button though, I really think it just has a zipper... is that totally bizarre sounding though??

I had my dress steamed the day before our wedding. When we arrived at the resort my dress was still in its dress bag. Someone (maybe Carolyn Allen's I believe) suggested requesting two extra sheets from the resort to use to cover up my dress. Carolyn Allen arrived Sunday afternoon to steam my dress. They hung it up from the curtin rod and drapped it over the couch in the room - we had a studio at The Boardwalk so we had a queen bed and a couch. When they were finished steaming the dress they covered the entire dress with the white sheets. My DH and I stayed there that night and he was there the next morning when Ana and Lily arrived and started on my hair and makeup. Misty and Nilo arrived and they took photos of me getting ready and my shoes and things. Once DH was dressed and left the room they took the sheets off and started taking pictures of it.
