dress codes

i heard that signature restaurants (except vic & al) are now allowing dress shorts and that casual business no longer means men have to wear pants. is this now the code

I've seen it called Business Casual and have seen Disney call it Resort Casual. Here's the link to dress codes here on the Dis

The code which is not much of a code allows you to wear just about anything but ripped clothing, tank tops hats and swimwear. That being said at the signatures I would not be comfortable in shorts but to each there own.
