Dress Code?

I've read conflicting reports about dress code for certain TS restaurants. Can someone please clarify them for me? I don't want to be embarrassed.

Park attire is fine in any park restaurant.

The signature places request business casual attire (no swimsuits, swimsuit cover ups, torn clothes, flip flops, hats, tank tops).

Victoria & Albert's is formal attire - jackets for men, evening dress wear for women.

There is recommended and there is enforced. Signatures have recommended of business casual. However, it's gotten lax and all that is enforced is what is prohibited.

No bathing suits, hats on men, offensive or torn clothing. I've seen everything from suits and cocktail dresses to denim shorts and Mickey Mouse t-shirts.

For any of the regular TS restaurants (1TS credit) regular park attire is just fine.

Victoria and Alberts specifies a dress code: Note: Proper Attire may include the following
Men: Dinner jackets with dress pants/slacks and shoes. Ties are optional (Please no jeans, shorts, sandals, flip-flops, or tennis shoes)
Ladies: Cocktail dress, dressy pant suit, skirt/blouse or nice dress. (Please no jeans, shorts, capri pants, sandals, flip-flops or tennis shoes)

The info below is from the Citrico's (one of the signature restaurants) page. I believe most of the other signatures are similar:
•Dress Code Guidelines:
Men: Khakis, slacks, jeans, dress shorts, collared shirts. Sport coats are optional.
Ladies: Capris, skirts, dresses, jeans, dress shorts.

Not permitted in dining room: Tank tops, swimwear, hats for gentleman, cut offs, or torn clothing. While T-shirts are now allowed, the policy remains that T-shirts with offensive language or graphics are not acceptable.

As a matter of fact, shoes are not mentioned in the dress code at all. I've seen lots of people wearing flip flops in the Signatures. (The nicer ones of course, not the cheapo rubber kind.)

The code Minnie Mum copied above pretty much covers it. Non signature restaurants allow park attire. With the signature restaurants, with the exception of V&A's, it boils down to they also allow park attire with a few exceptions:

Tank tops (primarily directed at men it seems, as I've seen many women with tank tops)
Swimwear
Cut offs
Ripped or torn clothing
Hats for men (I assume a fedora would be ok...)
T-shirts ARE allowed, provided they do not have offensive language or graphics

Flip flops are not mentioned and are allowed. Sometimes guests are confused because a few years ago Disney did tighten the code a bit by not allowing t-shirts and flip flops in the signature restaurants, but that didn't last too long.

So except for V&A's, it's a pretty casual code.
