We are leaving our MK touring about 2:15-2:30 if the plan goes well. I am skipping our last stop at It's a Small World if the wait is more than 15 minutes, so we will be leaving sooner if that happens ;)

Anyway, we will have toured from 9A, counter service at 11:15ish, leaving 2:15. I know we can make it to the 2:50 reservation, but will we be dressed too casually for this location?

Most likely we will be in shorts with matching Mickey or Minnie tees, which I made to take that photo in front of the castle!

I think you'll be fine. Many people come from the parks. I would highly suggest to just get a snack at 1115. The tea is a lot of food, there's no way you will be hungry a couple of hours later

We went prior to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in December wearing jeans and baseball-style Mickey t-shirts, and it was just fine. Nobody else that was in there at the same time as us was particularly dressed up other than a few little girls in princess dresses. Most adults were in their park clothes like us. I think you'll be just fine.

We always wear park clothes but I tend to wear sundresses in the warmer weather or capris so no shorts for me. In the cooler weather I'm in jeans and a long sleeve shirt. I do try to not wear tshirts on the day we know we are going but that is just a personal thing with me. I like to play grown up.

We went before our MNSSHP last year (we figured we needed some caffeine to keep us going). My husband and I were not sure but we wore shorts and t-shirts for the party and we were dressed just as well as everyone else with the exception of one table, they were dressed for a wedding! I would also suggest something as a breakfast that morning or just a snack. We had a breakfast sandwich at 9 and were ready for our food at tea and were stuffed when we left. we are not small people either so didn't plan on still being full and only had a snack later that night.

Great news on dress code. I would cancel if it was not appropriate from park.

I saw photos of the food, but didn't realize it was so filling. We will advise splitting our CS if we get it in Frontierland. I may just do a Dole Whip when we are near Jungle Cruise in the morning and wait to eat at the tea.
