Great job, lots of info. And oh - the cuteness factor of Sampson, Sophie, Finn, (and I've seen pics of Elvis, he's adorable too!) had me going "Awwwww" the entire time I was watching it! Love, love, LOVE!! 
And yes - I agree - ALWAYS ask if you can approach/interact with an animal (or a child, I treat both the same way - smarter/safer that way!)
