I'd prefer to drive but it's 20 hrs to get there. We'd arrive being tired, plus we'd either miss 2 days of vacation time or 2 days we could be working making money.

It's only an 11hr drive to visit my niece in NC. Then flying doesn't save enough time to make the much higher cost worth it.

We drive the 18 hours from Iowa and I prefer that to flights. It is so much cheaper to drive and we enjoy it, some good conversations are had during a long drive.
