I have to admit, I listened to half of the show on the way to work and as soon as I got in, I went straight to the Sandals website and started investigating.
We are looking at spending 5 nights in Mexico and thought I'd compare this and see how I go.

However, with the Zika virus issue, I don't think a Mexico/Caribbean holiday is on the cards now... I realise its a bit extreme, but I don't want any chance of birth defects when I'm in prime baby making age.
Also worried about how quickly cases will be diagnosed in Fl.

I actually don't think it is extreme. I know here the advice is to not travel to any of the affected areas if you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant in the next 2-3 years, just in case.

Yeah a girl from work just got back from Mexico and Central America and was advised that it can affect pregnancy for 2 years.
I'm 30 in October, so if I had to wait another 2 years, it could start getting more difficult for me.
