I just watched this episode -so happy they all enjoyed themselves! My family is from Lugano(between Como and Maggiore), my grandmother was born in Arogno, just on the other side of the mountain from Como ...and yes, it is as beautiful as they describe. Unfortunately, I don't get to visit as often as I would like but I plan on going back next year. When Pete says life-defining I can definitely relate, it's a great combination of beautiful people, food, and scenery.

I am glad they enjoyed their trip. My company is based on Zurich so I get to go over about once a year and have done a bit of sight seeing ... not to all the places they have been but just being in the alps and stuff is super scenic and breathtaking. Lots of good food there too

Enoteca Cambusa!

Been to Stresa twice. Had terrific times there and so very much enjoyed the Enoteca Cambusa. I believe your hostess was Rosaria, who could most certainly sell sand in the Sahara but what she does sell is so yummy!
