Dreams tips?

Hi everyone, me and my wife and our 15month old son go on Sunday for 4 nights and Dreams is on my must do list (it will have to be special to top Wishes for me)

Anyway I was after any handy tips on how is best to see it especially considering we will have our son in a pram (although he may be asleep)

Also if anyone had any other random tips on travelling with a child his age it would be great

It's his first flight so it should be an experience to say the least!

I don't have any tips really, we watched Dreams twice this week.

The parks were super busy on Saturday when we first watched it so we did the dreams menu at Walts and used the reserved area, wow am I glad we did it! The view was good from the area and people were camping out parade spots from after the 7pm parade ready for 11pm

Monday night the parks were much quiter, personally with a little one I wouldn't like to get a spot right at the front as theres alot of people all squashed up and jostling etc freaks me out. The parks were only open until 9pm on Monday so we didn't want to waste park time sat in a spot, we rode big thunder mountain at 8:50pm walked through the passage to Main street and just stood on the steps where the winnie the pooh meet is and had a great view albeit through the trees

So if I'm not bothered about having a perfect view we should be able to turn up a bit before and still be able to see and hear a bit?

Waiting around for a couple of hours with a 15 month old just isn't going to be a goer really

For the Dreams I think you'll have a good view where ever you are as it's all projected on the castle, we stood in the middle of central plaza it was utterly rammed, we had trouble seeing Fantillusion but we still got to see all of the Disney Dreams show! i would prob take your lil man in a baby/toddler carrier as it may be a bit difficult with a pram if really packed! you'll be able to hear it all no problem.

Hi there.... We were in there last weekend and went to see dreams on the Saturday night. The park was very busy but based on some tips on various forums we got really good views of both fantallusion and dreams. For fantallusion we went to the road that leads up to small world to the right of the castle - where the Italian Restaurant pizzeria bella notte is, stood opposite that and although main St was packed and the areas around the castle, her it was practically empty!! It also means that you see the beginning of the parade and can then go and do other things... For the 7pm parade we also stood here, although it was busier it was still quieter than most other places ... Other good place is go up as if you are going on the small world ride and stand at the railings at the top - Elevated view of the very beginning of the parade... Also means as the parade goes past you'll have easy no queue access to small world! Bonus... For dreams we had a fabulous, not busy view just in front of the annual passport office ( which is just to the right of the castle ... Locate it in the day, not far from buzz lightyear) we got there only about 15 min before last Saturday night, everywhere else was packed!!

If you are staying at a Disney hotel as everyone will say you must be in the park by 8, even by 9 it's busy- we went back to hotel about 10 to then have breakfast. With a baby, take it easy and relax and if you do your rides between 8-9.30 you can do that, have a swim etc.... The Disneyland hotel (where we stayed... Couldn't beat for location!) has the characters in the lobby from 4 pm till about 4.30 from thurs to sun and anyone can go in, small entrance to the right before you go in through the right hand turnstiles.

We watched it twice last week. Once in the middle of a sandy planted area (literally in the bushes!) to the left of the castle near the Adventureland entrance and once from the edge of Discoveryland - in the walkway between the Buzz shop and Plaza Gardens Restaurant. Both times we rocked up 10 mins before. The latter would be better with a pushchair.

I haven't seen it fully front on as I can't bear the crush!

It won't be as busy as people are describing ^^ as the summer season is finished and schools have started again

Sunday will be busy but like any weekend and then your following 3 days will allow you to enjoy yourselfs and see Dreams in good conditions.

We arent doing this trip commando style so will just take it easy and do what we can, Dreams really is one of the only things I really want to see along with character meets and taking Arlo on Pirates and IASW etc

I'll probably scout out the areas mentioned in the daytime then go and check them out after 8 or so on Monday

We are staying at Seqouia lodge so it shouldnt be too bad meandering back to the hotel after Dreams, at least compared to the scrum for buses back to the hotels at WDW after Wishes
