Dreams in Review, Did your Dream Come True?

So now that Dreams Moon is over, what did you all think? What did you win? Who ended the month with a complete new Dreams Collection and who has nothing to show for it?

Personally, I thought the Hosts did the best they could with the rules provided. I think the rules were poorly done and the result of those rules (Zombietown VMK, jealousy, discrimination, etc.) was tiresome and sad to see and I've always hated VMK Randomness.

As for myself? I did win twice during the Dreams Moon. Both times from Hula (thanks Hula!). I won a pair of Dream Ears and a second time I won the Tomorrowland Dream Set (Green Lightcycle and Tron Arcade Cabinet) so I'm lucky and happy for that. Would have loved to get the Suite set. A truely Disney-themed item, an amazing piece of art, and it's unlikely I'll ever get it (I don't think it'll be released to the public). I'd've also liked to have received the Dream Fairy pin (very beautiful).

I guess I'm happy to have got some new things things for free.

P.S. I can't believe I misspelled sandwiches in my poll. Is there anyway to edit that?

I come out of this month with three pairs of ears, a pin and a suite set.
I think it was poorly thought out but perhaps they will re release some items later on

I recieved dreams ears but I don't care that that's all I got.

It feels really cool to know you're part of the dream counter on the main page lol

I love my ears and before I received them I never realised how many people have them. It's not that much, well that's what I think

I got nothing. I really didn't like the whole month to begin with and thought it was a bad idea cause of it being set up as it was. It really didn't even bother logging in much because of the way many acted in rooms when I was just trying to get my credits. Plus the fact that I have very little time since school started and I now have 2 kids in school this year. I did try when I had a couple days during the month to get at least ears but nothing so whatever. No biggie. I'm glad that time is over and hopefully we can have some fun things this month to enjoy instead of what things have been like the last few months.

I didn't win anything, but I guess I could have if I'd spent more time playing. I just don't have time to dedicate my life to winning a virtual prize. I've been too busy with school and work to log on to VMK that much.

Well, I came out with:

1 blue ALR flower
1 set tea cup teleporters
1 pink tiki (woot!)
1 set boat teleporters

1 tron arcade

Poolcue got 1 pair of ears.

And of course, lots of good times spent with friends.

Despite not getting the logo pin that I really wanted and the dreams room w/furniture, I think I did really well.

I just wish I could gift a couple of the ears.

Well am really glad dream month is over!

But I did win...I won 3 pairs of ears!
I feel bad for those who didn't get anything..I did try and gift them but Phin didn't allow it. I really wanted the Dream room... but that didn't happen. I think that this whole dream month was not put together very well...but I do not blame the hosts..

I would really like to thank all the host for all the hard work... but espically Hula...

Nice idea, but poorly thought out and executed. As a pin collector first and foremost, I was forced to resort to some shady tactics on the final day to get them. Not my proudest moment, but VMK really left me no other choice.

Well, my dreams in order of how much I wanted them were:
dream suite - huge dream, I actually had real dreams about it.
hat
pins
pink tiki
green light cycle.

I got a couple of hats, both pins, and the frontierland set. I'm ok with what *I* got that.

However I'm seriusly not ok with how the "dreams" were given out. I really thought it was poorly thought out, and when they found it wasn't really working well, AND they didn't do anything to correct it during course of the month.

There were certain times I thought some of the host were being rather cruel when they promised to give things and then walked out of rooms because KIDS were asking what it was. Frankly if you tell me I have won a prize I will most certainly ask you what it is. Especially cruel near the end of the month and Dreamless players were utterly desperate to get something - anything. What the host didn't remember was while they were working a 2-3 hour shift a day giving gifts, players were sitting through EVERY shift all month long hoping to win something.

I seriously hope they never do this again.

But if we are only talking about main playing characters I only have 1 pair of ears. And I am okay with it.

I won Dream ears but I don't know how! Someone had to have gifted them to me but I don't know who! Thank you to whoever had a host send them my way! And thank you to all of you who spent the time to gift extra ears away! It was very kind of you! I was ready to close out the month with nothing from Dreams. I was set on just focusing on Halloween since I don't have time to be on VMK much anymore but when I checked my inventory, there they were! That was definitely such a great and surprising moment. So it's not so much that I have the ears but how I got the ears that made my Dream month.

I'm happy with what I got. I really didn't care about the ears. I wanted both the pins and got both the pins. Unfortunately, one of the two isn't on Mnementh and since they're obviously untradable, I'm a bit upset, but I'll deal. My fiance only wanted the ears and she got them. So all in all, I'd say I'm satisfied. I just really REALLY hope they make the pins tradable so I can give Mnementh the Fairy pin.

I mostly just wanted some ears, though the suite would have been nice.

I sure wish they had allowed us to gift our extra ears to friends as I was sad so many people missed out on the ears.
Quests to get some of the items might have eliminated some frustration felt by vmk'ers and cut down on the Host's duties.
Over all I didn't care for dreams month.

I only got a pair of dreams ears, but I'm fine with that. Of course I would have LOVED to get the room, but I'm happy that I got anything since I got my ears the night of the 29th.

I won a dream room and 2 pairs of ears. I would have been happy with just my kiddo getting ears. We were fortunate enough for my daughter, my sister and myself to all be awarded ears.

But, the best part of all of it was when Phinny came to my room and awarded all the earless kids with dream ears.....which included my own little princess. And, I have a pair of ears to gift if they become tradeable.
