You both look great! The cool ears make the Epcot day more fun already.

I needed a touch of Disney today, so I'm wearing my Minnie tee underneath my sweater.I.love.those.ears!!!
And, I have the t-shirt you're wearing, Leslie, and it's my favorite too.![]()
Great character pictures. I've only ever seen the Queen of Hearts at MNSSHP. The one we saw was a great character!!
And, of course, Soarin' is definitely in my top 5 rides!
It was very short lived but it was a bad funk! I was sure that this day was doomed when it started to rain. What a cute update!
Sorry you got in a funk Leslie but I'm glad it was very short lived. The rain can do that to me too!
I simply love that picture of you girls with the Queen of hearts and Jen the picture of you playing the drums is priceless!
The pink leopard ears were the perfect fix to the humidity hair and simply adorable. I think you should wear them whenever possible!
I was quite impressed with the fact that the rain was barely around when the percentage of rain was so high that day!Great update LL! Love the hair fix!
We were nervous about the rain that day too, but it only sprinkled briefly. We went from listening to a weather forecast of 80% chance of rain with possible hail and tornado warnings to getting in reality a few sprinkles and it never rained!!!!
I was mucho happy about this!
for starting your day with a fabulous picture with Daisy, a ride on Soarin' and a breakfast of champions aka 4S's. Sunshine Season's Strawberry Shortcake!
Sorry real life is getting in your way of staying in the Disney bubble. I get it, totally! As Brook said, take all the real life time you need. We'll be here!![]()
That is horrible. Rain in Epcot is awful!Love the update! Can relate to the Epcot funk, our Epcot day was a totaly wash out. the rain came down hard and steady our WHOLE day. we were drowned rats! So glad it was only a few sprinkles, it must have known you were not having it!
Thanks. The ears worked well for this day.Fun update. I also have wacky hair in the humidity-love the ears!
I think the people at work would have me committed if I wore my ears to work.Love the ears. You totally should wear them to work!!
Ahh... World Showcase. My happy place. Wish I was there now!! Glad the rain didn't last for you!
Nervous about the "for now" you threw in there after saying your feet were golden.
Soarin is definitely my favorite ride in WDW. Thank goodness MeMom is so generous and lets us all ride her ride. And I agree, Jen, would love the scent in my house.
LOVE the breakfast! Awesome!!
You saw some less common characters between Daisy and Queen of Hearts... very cool!!
I think she is an awesome villain. I will admit the villains, intimidate me just a teeny bit.I love the ears, those are so cute!
I have yet to meet Daisy. That's awesome that you met the Queen of Hearts, too! I love the villains.
I really loved my Disney tees this trip. We had really good luck with crowds for the most part. What a fun Epcot morning! I love your pink leopard ears-too cute!
First at a turnstile again today. Gotta love Disney in January.
I love both of the t-shirts you guys are wearing. I've been a t-shirt buying fool lately (put many pics up on my PTR today) but I missed those...I guess another trip to disneyshopping.com is in order!
Looking forward to more whenever real life allows!![]()
It probably will be the next big thing. :rotfl2:The first to the turnstile dance again! Watch out, it'll be the next big thing!![]()
Yay to Marc for stopping the rain for youand those Mickey ears are just too cute.

Awww, that is such a nice story! I am glad that we can keep you motivated!!I loved this update girls and it was just in time!! I have been feeling in a funk lately about my weight lately but having a hard time getting motivated to do what I know I need to do.
First, this morning I decided to try on the Disney t-shirts I got myself for christmas (one of them is the same Minnie T you had on this day LL!). They "fit" and looked OK, but were just snug enough to not be super comfortable (does this make sense?) so I decided this is the motivation I need! Tonight we went out to dinner and I really debated about what to order, I knew what I should do but was struggling with what I wanted to do when I thought of that shirt. I decided I would rather have the calorie counter salmon dinner and have that t-shirt look and feel good in May.Yay me!
Then I come home and find this update and I see how good both of you look and I know how hard both of you have worked and that give me the encouragement to keep going!
I'm hoping tomorrow I will gather up the motivation to start working on the Wii fit since I know LL you have started on that!
We had great character mojo! It was so awesome.Okay a practically perfect day so far in Epcot! AND yes, those ears are tooo cute! Great photos and great smiles! You both look like you are having a blast! You got to see a lot of characters already! How great is that?!
Me too. I wish I could incorporate Mickey ears in my everyday wardrobe!I'm so glad it stopped raining! And I love those ears!![]()
Thank you!You both look great! The cool ears make the Epcot day more fun already.![]()
You must ride Soarin! It's the bestest ride EVER!Oh I LOVE the one of you and Jen on the sofa together! It's like BFF's watching tv or a movie, so cute!!
Mmm...how that Strawberry Shortcake looks delicious and I bet having it for breakfast made it that much more tasty.
Ah Soarin', I shall ride you someday. In december I at least got fastpasses for the ride this time...but sadly they were not used. Next time I promise!![]()
It really was the perfect solution!what a fun update and a perfect solution to a bad hair day!
Hehehe, it's almost time for your trip!!Strawberry Shortcake for breakfast!
Bad hair...![]()
Powdering my feet was the way to go. I will never skip powdering my feet ever again in disney!Great hairband/ears!!
I don't blame you for getting miffed at the weather... your feet were a major source of concern after last time!
DH (Ed) is religious about making us all powder our feet when at WDW... I think it really does help!
Kathy
I know, I wish that the bag hadn't gotten in the picture but oh well.I laughed when I saw your bag out to the side in the Queen of Hearts picture. I do that all the time.
By the way how did your bag work out?
I have to give Jen credit for all of the Epcot photos, I barely took any pictures this trip. You have some GREAT Epcot photos! I really love the ones with you guys w/ the mickey ears- so cute!I know what you mean about the rain- it started to put a damper on my mood, too. And the thing about the photographers- I HATE that they take the photos from such low angles! I thought I was the only one who noticed that they do that. (If I remember to look for it tonight, I will PM you a photo from 2000 where my head looks like it is the size of a hot air balloon from the angle they took the photo- You will laugh so hard when you see it!)
I'm really enjoying your report- I can't wait to read more!!
Thank you!Love the picture of Jen doing her dance. So cute!
Glad the rain didn't last long. And very cute ears.![]()
I'm glad you liked this update!I love this update, Leslie and Jen. Well, truthfully, I love all of your updates, but this one made me smile as I was sitting here waiting on students to arrive.
I remember your wait at the Epcot turnstiles -- I was shopping at Walmart at the time!I just adore Jen's turnstile dance!
Leslie, that is a great picture with Daisy -- it's adorable!
Strawberry Shortcake for breakfast after a ride on Soarin' is the perfect way to start a day, in my opinion!
Hurray for no SSE pancakes!!!
I don't blame you one bit for tensing up when it started raining -- I am glad Jen and Marc were able to cheer you up, LL!
Oh. My. Goodness. Those leopard print mouse ears are awesome!!! I know I would be much more cheery if I was able to wear them to work every day.![]()
It was awesome to see the Queen of Hearts, really unexpected!Great find with the Queen of Hearts! That area in the morning is one of my new favorite locations. Sometimes you just find the best out-of-the-ordinary characters there.
Looking forward to characters galore!
I agree, there are funks at Disney no matter how great of a trip you have I think.I'm glad you got out of your funk. I think those are bound to hit at some point no matter how hard you try. Glad the rain cleared up too.
Love the breakfast of champions!
I love The Land too, it's a great, low key ride.I love the headbands! The Land is one of my favorite rides. The strawberry shortcake looked really good.
