Dreamin_disney- My promise to DD

Hello. We will be 1st timers to wdw this Nov.
When dd (9) was lil i would always tell her , that when she turned 10 I'd take her to wdw. Well guess who is turning 10 this year and just happened to remind me at the beg. of this year- YUP! DD

Since Feb/March i've been researching this trip. Boy did i pick i great time to travel with messy gas prices. I'm so grateful i found this board or i would have been lost. To think i thought wdw was one park . Being from Calif. i thought it was just like disneyland-lol!

I had to wait for SW to open up Nov dates. I did buy tickets 1269.00 for three (1A, 1C) ouch! I havent booked waiting for a magical code but it hasnt come. Hopefully August will a special disney package deal. Now I'm just trying to figure out schedules -dining, parks and shows. I found the hours of the parks and emh but i cant find parade and shows for my dates Nov. 14-23 Where do i find tis info or is it to early?

I'm so glad to make this promise for dd come true. This is her first real vacation and flying. I guess i better becareful what I promise her in the future-lol!

Did some research for wdw. I've been debating the dining plan and today confirmed it. We had breakfast at a buffet today. I figured it would determine if ddp was a good choice for us. DF keep saying get the plan but today confirmed my thoughts. After we ate i asked DF if the way he felt at the moment could he walk around a huge park and get on rides. He agreed the DDP woulnt be a good idea for us. He even said we could even probablay split some meals. This means i'll save movre money and not gain as much weight-lol!

Hi . I'm staying at POP in Nov. How do i figure out the bus system.

Example if i wanted to go to Kona cafe

do i take POP bus to MK
then bus from MK to the polynesian

dinner at Whispering canyon
from MGM Park

can i take a bus striaght from there to wilderness lodge ,right ?

Are the buses easy to read which goes where? Is there a bus from POP straight to DTD?

I cant believe time is flying by. I'm been so busy looking for info on the board about airfare, discounts cost that i havent really planned what to do and see at wdw. This will be our first trip

Nov. 14th -23rd
arrival time 4:30pm at MCo
departure time 12:35pm but ME 9:35am on the 23rd Sunday

Dinner ? will arrive at 4:30pm to mco. We should be at the resort by 7pm-7:30pm. We plan on walking DTD

It sounds so fun! Isn't that funny how kids remember promises you made to them a year or two earlier? Why can't they make use of that memory when you ask them where their other sandal is? Where are you and your daughter staying? POP? I can really recommend the waterpark. I don't even really like them but we went to Blizzard Beach with my sister and her family and it was a blast. Tip: Get a good bathing suit - leave the bikini at home that day!

LOL! yes i wish my dd would remember to clean her room-lol!
DF , dd and me will be staying at POP. I wish i could fit into a bikini-lol! Well even when i was 120 i was to shy to wear one. I'm working out hoping to lose 34 lbs. I havent worn shorts in years out in public just around the house. Nov i plan to wear a skirtini-wish me luck!

Myself, I kind of hate exercise. I just do it for the Disney Marathon trips I get out of it!

Anyone,
So any recommnedation of must sees and do's for a first timer? what not to waste time on? I read that the lilo and stitch ride should be avoid and it smells-is this true?

Should i put beaches and cream on my food list ? What food items are good there besides desserts?

Any other good counter services on DTD that arent on my list?

Well i did it I bought my package on Aug. 14 using the fall code special-yipeeee!

We saved about 500.00 on the room that the package we were going to have to get was 1900.00 for 9 night @ POP and basic tickets -7days. so for 200.00 more we got the room, tickets and ddp. This is our first time going to wdw and 1st time with ddp and maybe the only time since dd will be 10 in Dec.

I read about people getting to parks early for fast tracks for soaring and toy story. Where is the fastpass located for these rides? What other rides should i try to get fast passes for?
